Hello,
I guess I'd better introduce myself before I pose my first question. I'm
Aram Kudurshian, a senior in high school here in France. This is my first
experience with an operating system other than Mac OS 9/X and frankly am at
a loss but am ready to learn. Anyway, on to my query...
I'm using a PowerMac Dual G4 and have set up the SMP w/ the aid of a friend.
The only problem now is that neither he nor I can figure out how to enable
the Radeon graphics card so that KDE is in a higher resolution than 640x480
and at a higher depth.
A quick search among the archives shows a couple of queries but due to my
absolute little knowledge of YDL, I have no idea what needs to be done.
I've tried setting up the Radeon through the Yaboot config file through the
command append="video=radeonfp (etc) but haven't got it to work. Can anyone
help me out (using simple English if possible).
