Hey folks,

I have a user who needs to deploy a Darwin Streaming Server. Her hardware
will be a Blue & White G3 (disks and memory unknown to me right now, but
they can be massaged). This user currently is wondering what OS to use.
She has almost no cash so linux looks good to her and YDL-2.1 would fit
nicely with her current ia32 RedHat boxes. Other option is Darwin/ppc..
She can't really afford OSX Server.

So before I tell her to go out and buy a book with CD's and install the
damn thing, is anyone running the DSS (v3 or the v4 Preview) on YDL-2.1 on
a G3? If so are there any problems? I remember someone bemoaning that
DSS wouldn't compile on YDL-2.1 for them... (yes, i'm aware that I should
hit the archives and find the previous post, but this hasn't been covered
in a long time, so perhaps a redux is needed :)
