AFIK, support for 1.2.1 has been dropped. The recommended fix is an
upgrade to 2.1. I too run a 1.2.1 server and frankly, I'm still a little
pissed about this.

You're talking backup, reformat, reinstall. Not hard, but not easy
either.

Regardless of users on the machine, I'd suggest upgrading for security
resons. Either that or start getting the erratta sources from later
distros and try rebuilding them on 1.2.1 -- this will cause issues because
rpm has changed from 1.2.1 to 2.x and you'll run ionto build isses as the
2 versions diverge. Upgrading rpm on a 1.2.1 machine is problematic
becasue of the db3 requirements which conflict with the older version of
libc in 2.1

All in all kind of an icky situation.
