I've use a Newer G3L2 300/200/1M with the 6500 and YDL 1.2. One on the
problem I had was it would not boot from an IDE drive with the 2.2.15
kernel. I located an older copy (2.2.6) kernel and it boots fine now.
However one of the restriction I have is I must boot into the Mac OS before
running Linux. The reason being is I need an extension to activate the G3.
If could find a disassebler I would dissassemble the extension, rip the
code, and add it to bootx so I could boot directly into linux. But that's
another problem.
