Try trashing all the Appletalk folders. This includes
'TheVolumeSettingsFolder', 'Network Trash Folder' and any '.AppleDouble'
folders (they will probably be invisible to the mac, do an 'ls -l .A*' and
you will see them). This might solve your problems.

Note: If you have any files that have/use resource forks, they will
become corrupted/unusable when you trash all the .AppleDouble folders.
This shouldn't be a problem for any text or gif or jpeg files.

Honestly though, your best bet is to use an FTP client anyway and stop
using AppleTalk altogether (even Apple is dropping AppleTalk). Try
Anarchie or NetFinder, both are really handy FTP clients.
