Well, you can turn the cd image into a cd w/ the right software (e.g.,
Toast, but not Discribe--Discribe can make a copy of the mounted CD
image or of the image, but neither will boot) & a CD burner.

Alternatively, you could mount the image, copy all of its contents to an
HFS partition, and then do the install from there. See
http://modctek.com/linux_report.htm for instructions on how to do this
on a Pismo (ignore the Pismo specific instructions & you should be able
to do it on any Mac).

Generally, though, you probably can save yourself a lot of headaches
getting the disks.
