right now i'm trying to install cs 1.2 on my 1.8 gig scsi seagate.
everytime i try to start up linux from x boot (x boot is not a
problem it loads fine) i get to where it checks everything and i get
ok for everything except 2 errors which are:

activating swap partition swapon: /dev/sda8 Invalid Argument
and
checking /dev/sda7. the filesystem size (according to the superblock)
is 1855282 blocks. the physical sized of the device is 1740800
blocks. either the superblock or the partition table is likely to be
corrupt!
/dev/sda7: unexpected inconsistency: run fsck manually
(i.e., without -a or -p options)

can someone tell me how to fix this??? i'm on a g3 yosemite rev 2
w/256 megs of ram. i haven't used any form of unix for anything
other than debugging perl scripts and small network stuff so, please
someone give me directions that are idiot friendly. it identifies
everything else fine including the scsi card, its just something
w/the partitioning that doesn't make sense that i'm doing wrong. i
even went ahead and reformatted the hard drive for hfs, deleted the
hfs partition and tried again, but no luck so please someone get back
to me asap.
thanx,
adam
