I can't seem to get audio output from my Pismo's audio output jack.

I've launched gmix to see what's what; and both "line" & "speaker"
are on (i.e.: NOT muted).

I'm playing through xmms. And the Pismo's little speakers work
just fine ;) In fact, plugging in my external speakers doesn't
automagically turn them off.

The audio output jack to external speaker gag works just fine
under MacOS.

Any clues?
