cd install problem

I am currently trying to install YDL 2.0 on a blue and
white imac. I downloaded the installation disk image,
burned it to a cd, and started the installation
program sucessfully. However, once it got to the part
of the installation that concerned "locating the
install media", it said that the disk could not mount
in the internal cd/dvd drive. How do I get passed
this and install YDL? (Please keep in mind that I
have absolutely no prior Linux experience).
