hey all, I am having problems with my ethernet and my screen colors.
My computer specs:
Model name: UMAX SuperMac C500
Processor info: PowerPC 603ev
Machine speed: 240 MHz
Built-in memory: 112 MB
Ethernet: 2 10BaseT PCI Ethernet Adapters

1. I installed YDL ok, but X windows will only launch if the monitor is
set for 8 bit color. If it is set to 16-bit color, then it goes back to the
command line with a "fatal" error. Yet I use 16 bit color in Mac OS 9 with
no problem. Is there anything I can do about this?

[Last few lines of text:

(II) Keyboard "Keyboard0" handled by legacy driver
(II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "Mouse0" (type: MOUSE)

Fatal server error: Caught signal 11. Server aborting.

[Bunch of text about reporting errors to XFree86.com]

X connection to :0.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).

*********

2. Linux is not picking up my 2 ethernet cards, both Macally 10bps cards.
Macally has no linux drivers for this card. Is there some 3rd party driver
that I can pick up? Or is there something else that I need to configure?

Thank you!
