Subject: Reorganize KDE Menu?

Friends--
I have my very nice KDE system running now. But I notice that the
"start" menu doesn't make much sense. Coming from the Mac world, I
just want to drag and drop items into different folders and trash
applications I will never use.
But I assume that like much else with Linux, there's some magic trick
to doing this.
