first i would like to just hello to everyone. i'm new to the list and new to
PowerPC architecture. i've been using linux for almost 4 years and i'm
RedHat certified... so i'm not new to linux. that said, on to my question.

i was trying to install YDL 2.0 on a Power Mac 7300/200... i unpacked the
BootX loader and install it. then i restarted and chose the
ramdisk-text.image.gz. it came up to the installer, i chose custom and in the
partitioning, i removed all the Mac partitions and created a 10 meg boot, 128
meg swap and the rest (1.9 gig) linux native. then the installer went to the
formatting part and died. now i'm stuck. no Mac OS install media and i can't
figure out an alternate way to boot the system. is there and install disk or
something? is there any way to boot to the cdrom?

any ideas are welcome and likely helpful as i know almost nothing about how
Macs boot. thanks.
