Hi - This is probably of interest to only a very small audience, but I
figured I would pass it along nonetheless. Using an Orinoco Silver PC
card, I was able to set up wireless networking with my Lombard using only
stock YDL 2.0 packages. A bit of configuration was required, but between
Paul Lucas' page
(http://homepage.mac.com/pauljlucas/personal/powerbook/wireless.html) and
examining log messages, even the configuration was reasonably straight
forward.

The PowerBook boots via yaboot and I am running a stock 2.2.19-1k kernel.
Internet connectivity is via Airport Software Base Station running on a G4.
I imagine things would be even simpler with a hardware base station.

Jim
