It is stock. I am using the kernel-pcmcia-cs-2.2.19-1k package from my YDL
2.0 install CD. As for the actual version, I get the following from
running strings on pcmcia_core.o

    Linux PCMCIA Card Services 3.1.26
    kernel build: 2.2.19-1k #1 Sat Jun 2 02:54:55 MDT 2001

I had the same problem with 2.2.18 and gave up for a while since I was
running MacOS 9.1 and couldn't revert back to BootX.

I am writing from my Lombard, which is currently networked via the PC
card, booted with yaboot, and using XFree86 4.0.2. However, I should throw
in one disclaimer. I have only booted into Linux twice since I configured
for the PC card and have thus far only spent a few hours online. As such,
I can't say much about consistency or stability. But so far, so good.

As with the modules, I am using the stock package from my YDL 2.0 install
CD (kernel-2.2.19-1k). So far I have had no pressing need for a custom
kernel build.
