Hi all,
I have downloaded the install CD for YDL 2.0, installed it on a
B/W G3 and it went OK.
Now I am trying to install YDL 2.0 on a 4400 PPC but the installer
refuses to show up at boot time (no I did not forget to hold the c key).
I guess this is because the kernel is not correct for this machine.
So here is what I plan to do, but I am not sure this is correct and
need some help:
-Burn an home made CD with an apropriate kernel for the 4400 PPC?
(In this case, which kernel should I use and where to get it?)
Is there any other thing I should replace in the YDL install folder
like the ramdisk ?
Does this plan make any sense to you?
ThanX
