Hello,
I have 3 G4's, one of them (server) has two ethernet cards and is plugged
into the wall and to a local network. The other two I have setup to mount
the home directory off the server. Everything mounts up at boot fine, but
when I try to log in on one of the clients I get a message about the dcop
server not being able to read net tables, and I get returned to the login
screen. When I log in as root, I can see the home directories just fine and
I can read/write files. (all files on the server have rwxrwxrwx permissions
right now) Does anyone know what dcop is or what it is trying to read?
Thanks,
Tim
