Subject: Stupid kernel

Why cant i dust download the kernel and compile it, like i usually do with
my pentium machine?
this is the message i get when i use kernel 2.4.6 patched to 2.4.7 pre 6:

What is wrong?
Paranthesis has to be changed with square prackets. Danm mac keyboard... how
come that the iMac, the machine called the first real 'Internet Machine',
designed for internet, internet has never been easyer to set up, and blah
blah blah, how come that this machines keyboard (danish version) doesn't
have the 'at' sign? thats the most stupid thing i ever saw on a mac.
