I believe that the rpm on the CD for Afterstep is not complete. When I
tried to intall it I had failed dependencies as well. But when I went
tracking down what package should provide them, it turned out that it was
the afterstep rpm itself that should include it. I ended up sticking with
GNOME, but you can probably find a pppc RPM at rpmfind.com or one of the
mirrors. Or, you could just go to afterstep.org and download the
sources.... That is what I did initially...
