Subject: Kernel 2.4.4 on old world machine

I installed the RPM from the tasty Morsels CD as directed on the YDL page -
I tried booted from the new kernel - but it booted into the old one - I did
not change any parameters in bootx.
So next I tried removing the old vmlinux from System Folder/Linux Kernels -
It starts to boot the new kernel but stalls on:
