Subject: Have I done something fantastically stupid?

Hi-
My friend lent me his Powerbook for the summer, and I set about putting
YDL 1.2 on it. The install went fine, except that I accidentally erased
the HFS partition where I had previously copied the install stuff.
I don't want MacOS on the machine; but I have a nasty feeling that I might
have to find a copy of the install CD or somthing to put the vmlinux and
yaboot files onto the 12MB HFS partition I made during the install. Is
there any other way to do it?
I was thinking I could try to get someone to burn me a CD with the
necessary files on it, and boot from said CD. Do you guys think this would
work?
Thanks.
