I would really appreciate it if someone can help me out with installing and/or configuring my samba-server.

I installed it by clicking on the samba-2.0.6-8.src.rpm package included on the cd-rom and I see that the client and server are installed (?)

However, I must have done sth. wrong bc I cannot find the file /etc/rc.d/init.d/smb and in /usr/sbin there should be smbd and nmbd daemons

What should I do?

thanks,
