Howdy,
I've been attempting to use GNOME-LinuxConf to configure my Yellow Dog Linux Champion Server 1.2 G4 Server and have run into a serious problem.
After using GNOME-LinuxConf to set up my system (and it insists upon trying to start nfs services), I cannot open any further programs in X. I switched to a virtual console and tailed .xsession-errors and found that Xlib was refusing my connections to :0.0.
Since I can't open a terminal in X, I cannot use xhost to fix this. (I'm guessing that xhost would fix it.)
I'm logged in to X as root and don't experience this problem unless GNOME-LinuxConf is used.
Has anyone experienced or fixed this problem?

        Thanks in advance,
                Austin M. Brower
