Im still trying to solve my X problem on a mac 9500.

Whatever is wrong with it keeps booting me into console mode. I've done
Xconfigurator and linuxconfig, but none of the changes have helped. Should
i reinstall at this point?

Does anyone have any ideas? Is it time for the magnet?
