Okay I have a Tulip (DEC21143) ethernet card in my mac. I can use this under Mac os.
lspci -v shows:

Flags: bus master, meduim devsel, latency 96, IRQ 23
I/O ports at 0400

Expansion ROM at 80840000 [disabled]
When i boot i get
eth0: DC21143 at 0x0400 (PCI bus 0, device 13), h/w address 00:....,
and requiers IRQ23 (provided by PCI BIOS)

This is the wrong driver, on my slack box with the same type of card i get :
tulip.c:v0.89H 5/23/98 becker@cesdis.gsfc.nasa.gov
eth0: Digital DS21142/3 Tulip at 0xe000, 00 00 c5 53 5b 9f, IRQ 11.
In slack tulip is a modules, so i tried modprobe tulip on the mac and:
/lib/modules/2.2.15-2.9.0/net/tulip.o: init_module: Device or resource busy
/lib/modules/2.2.15-2.9.0/net/tulip.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.2.15-2.9.0/net/tulip.o failed
/lib/modules/2.2.15-2.9.0/net/tulip.o: insmod tulip failed
I belive this is because of the de4x5.c thing, so i tried booting with the params
"reserve=0x0400,32"
and i get the same errors, is there any boot parm to spesify the driver?
