OK. After a nasty set of hard drive crashes, i have my machine working
again somewhat and a surprise...i got the ydl 1.2 installer working...
the link below is still active.
However, the fix was not a software fix, but rather, the bootdisk started
working AFTER i reduced my RAM from 512MB to 128MB or 2 64 MB chips. with
all of the ram installed, i get an error loading the ramdisk every
time(even with 1.1) you may also have to take out any extra pci cards YMMV.
However, I KNOW it works this time as I am running the installer as i type.
good luck...i'll have 2.2.16 in the usual places in a couple of days.
