Has anyone had any luck with mysql 3.22 from the source tarball? When it
reaches sql_yacc.cc it just sits there for hours ( like four hours!), i'm
using gcc version egcs-2.91.66 19990314 (egcs-1.1.2 release)

anyone have anythoughts? I'm going to try the source rpm of 3.22,
otherwise i'll move down to 3.21 which i was able to compile before my
reinstall.
