Try Xautoconfig

go to:
http://rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/yellowdog/1.0/software/devel/RPMS/Xautoconfig-0
.1-2.ppc.html

1) Download it
2) Run it
3) Reboot

This should fix your problem.
