If your machine is a Rev 1 Blue and White(like mine), it will NOT boot up
from a slave IDE hard disk. But since you're using only scsi drives, I
suspect that your scsi drive is sitting where Apple would normally put the
default IDE hard drive. What you can try is physically moving your scsi
drive to one of the other two positions and then connecting the IDE disk
to the short ide cable coming from the logic board. (setting it to
master.) Intech claims to have solved the problem with it's drivers but
I'm not sure that it would do you any good from linux. I'm using this
kind of setup myself booting from an IDE disk at that slot and using SCSI
drives on the other two bottom bays and it works fine. (I've booted
LinuxPPC off a partition on the IDE and YellowDog off one of the SCSI's.)
