Now, I have it running - got the replacement CD today in the mail.

still can not dual-boot on my powerbook ... no idea how to 'afterinstall'
yaboot. The old method doesn't seem to work any more - but I'll try that
later (from the YDL 1.2.1 CD).
and I can:

rdate -s ntp2.usno.navy.mil
