I can't give you step by step instructions, but I can point you in the
right direction:

    Log in as root.

    Insert either the install CD or the Good Bits CD. linuxconf
    will be on the install CD.

    Use the command "mount /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom" to mount the CD-ROM.

    Use the cd command to find the directory under /mnt/cdrom that
    has the package you want to install.

    Issue the command "rpm --install PACKAGE_NAME" where PACKAGE_NAME
    is the name of the rpm file that you want to install.

    Once you are done installing packages, you should unmount the
    CD-ROM drive by using the command "umount /mnt/cdrom".
