Thanks for the response Dan,

I tried zapping the pram, and OS restarts now, but I don't have the boot promt anymore. It just starts right up in OS. I don't remember what partition # the boot partition is in. Maybe I should I just re-install and remember the partition #? Can I access that directly from OS if I know what # it is?
