Subject: Ydl 2.0 Install

I recently recieved my Ydl 2.0 disks from the folks at Terrasoft, and thought
I'd relay my install experiance. I installed on a biege G3/312MB ram/Rage
Orion video/usb pci card. The first attempt at an install resulted in an
automatic reboot about 1/3 of the way through the installation. I still have
no idea why the machine rebooted, but the second attempt went smoothly.
The only problem emcountered was flawed XF86Config, which for this machine is
a normal occurence. Since installing the Rage Orion I always have to build
the XF86Config by hand. Once the XF86Config editing was complete I was able
to get X running easily. I'm pleased to see a distribution giving the
opportunity to select the services you want to run from the install
interface. Well done Folks!
A quick question: does anyone know what needs to be changed to allow kdm to
set the background? I'd like to put up a custom background, but all I get is
arather crusty looking grey backgound.
