Ah, just got this message, so disregard the other except for the part about
the permissions.

What do you get from an

ls -l /usr/sbin/ybin

Perhaps you need to make it executable?

I don't have experience with ybin since I use bootx, but this shouldn't
matter for your problem if I understand you correctly. As root, you cd to
/usr/sbin and then you enter ./ybin and the shell then responds that the
command is not found - right?
