problems with nautilus

so after some effort getting nautilus to compile I've run into a problem which
I'm guessing shouldn't be to big. I get this error when I try to start nautilus.

nautilus: error in loading shared libraries:
/usr/lib/libnautilus-extensions.so.0: undefined symbol:
medusa_system_services_are_blocked

If anyone has any ideas of what I could try I would apreciate the help.
