type init 5, and this will bring you to a login screen. Once your in Gnome,
I recommend going into linuxconf and changing the default boot to graphic &
network. You will need to be logged on as root to do so.

What if I want to boot into the gnome desktop though? I haven't been able to
figure that out. Is it simply a different command such as a "startx" that
gets
it going?
