This is just a followup to my origional email. Here is the error I'm receiving when I try to mount a disk
I get this error with the internal cdrom and external cdrw. If I remove the external drive the internal drive starts to function properly. I tried to swap the cd to the external scsi bus and cdrw to the internal scsi bus, but the same thing happens.
I'm really lost with this one.

mount: block device /dev/cdrw is write-protected, mounting read-only
ll_rw_block: device 0b:01: only 2048-char blocks implemented (512)

mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/cdrw,
or too many mounted file systems
