No, unless you consider getting a headache an advantage.

I don't think OS X supports UFS (at least earlier versions didn't). The
other thing is that OS 9 won't be able to handle the volume (which isn't
really a great idea unless you're a UNIX guru & able to live with OS X alone
(OS 9 does offer some advantages that OS X doesn't with respect to booting &
being able to copy files/format disks, etc)).
