How can a setup where sound doesn't work (IceBook, YDL 2.1) be the "most
favored combination"? That's dumb. Even if you're savvy enough to be able to
get Ben's iBook kernel, it STILL doesn't work in KDE.

I've used RedHat 7.2 on a Dell laptop and everything just WORKED, which is
definitely not the case with Yellow Dog / PPC.

Just in case anyone didn't see this, there was an Ask Slashdot question
about what laptop to get if'n you're wanting to run linux. [Ti|Ice]Book +
YDl was one of the most favored combonations. Go YDL! I use YDL on my
Pismo and have actually started using it in preference to my Dell 420 at
home and Sawtooth at work.
