hehe... i hear that! tho i dont much care for redhat or it's clones i must
admit that redhat works really nicely most of the time. i have yet to get
this modem problem resolved with my iMac.

i'm getting cable tomorrow afternoon though. so i'll be able to go online
with linux after all! well, that is unless the ethernet starts giving me
problems too... are there any known issues with the builtin ethernet for the
iMac under YDL?

i'll still want to get my modem up and running... but yeah. least i can
download updates IN linux without having to go back and forth between macOS
and linux.
