It depends what you want and what you realize you're getting into. I'm really happy with my TiBook and YDL but I'm not a big multimedia user and I was prepared for a lot of headaches. (Althoughthe headaches exceeded my expectations -- Yellow Dog people: if Apple releases new revisions for models that you claim are supported, please update your site to reflect that!)

The Slashdot guy wanted a laptop that would be 100% supported out of the box. A Radeon TiBook isn't the answer for him, although it is for many of us.
