Don't feel alone. Here's my first experience with computer sound.
Put an FM radio on top of an IBM 1130, tune it to ... I forget. Run
this special program - that is, feed a deck of punch cards into the
hopper - and?! "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" played on a kazoo.
Circa 1970. Oh, man, do I need a nap.
