Hi. I did a couple list searches for 1600x1024 and SGI1600, and found
nothing.

I have a SGI1600SW monitor attached to a G3 blue and white mac.

Under both MacOS9 and MacOSX I get 1600x1024 resolution at 60Mhz, but
under Yellow Dog the highest I can get is: 1280x1024-16@60.

I'm using append = "video=aty128fb:1280x1024-16@60" and that works. But
when I change it to 1600x1024-16@60 it boots up in 800x600. :(

What's worse is there's no option in /etc/fb.modes for 1600x1024 and I
don't know what the timings line should look like.

Anyone got YellowDog working with a SGI1600SW monitor?

If I knew how to generate the /etc/sb.modes lines I think that would help.

My info:

        [root@isis /root]# grep -i vga /proc/pci
VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Rage 128 RE (rev 0).
        [root@isis /root]# uname -a
