Watch out before you get burnt to crisp. :)
Out of the box, no, 2.1 does not support the iBook 2 very well. You will
need to pick up one of the more current kernels. These new kernels will
have better support for the sound chipset, and for airport, and various
other PPC things. You can get the new kernels from
http://www.ppckernel.org/
As an aside, this topic has been discussed extensively on the list before.
When asking a question, please at least make a cursory attempt to search the
archives of the list. It will help with good will when you ask other
questions.
