I haven't spent much time trying to figure out why it sounds better - it just
does - as far as the previous post goes, I have no analog connections at all,
you really need to read the information posted on their site before making
comments that are nearly 5 years out of date.

I have a 5 year old NEC scsi 8 speed cd-rom sitting around here that has a
spdif port on it.
