Hi,

I am wondering the current state of the kernel rivafb.
Ani announced the test binary kernel which supports the
rivafb driver. But I cannot find the corresponding source.

I try kernels rsynced to linux-2.4-benh (2.4.18-ben0),
linux_2_4 (2.4.19-pre3), linux_2_4_devel (2.4.19-pre3).
All these kernels build on my quick silver (GeForce2MX,
RAM 896MB) fails to boot it, if the rivafb driver is
compiled in, irrespective of the kernel argument video=ofonly
or video=riva. The BenH's 2.4.18-ben0 fails to boot
even when it does not contain the rivafb driver. The
kernels from linux_2_4(_devel) boots the machine if
they are build without the rivafb driver (Yes, I
set CONFIG_HIGHMEM=y).

Does somebody here know the current state of
the kernel rivafb driver?

Thanks,
kaz
