Hey, I just installed YDL 2.1 on my 6500. Everything seemed to go okay,
it it seems to be working. The only problem was a goofed up video
setting, but that was fixed. Now, I am trying to get the ethernet
working, but the disk drive is nowhere to be found and everytime I try
to open PPP configurator, it asks for root password, and nothing
happens. I have a D-link DFE-530TX+ which is suppose to have linux
drivers, but since I can't get the internet to work, and the disk drive
is not working, I can't copy any files to the computer. I have very
little linux knowledge, just some basic commands and a general
understanding of the system structure, and OS X on my Titanium Powerbook
G4.
