Another thought I had, is it possible to get updated monitor profiles? I
have a KDS Avitron AV7TF 17" (Trinitron tube) capable of 1280*1024 @ 60,
1152*864 @ 75, 1024*768 @ 56-90, 800*600 @ ??-100 and 640*480 @ ??-120
(along with some unusual sizes like 320*240 & 720*??). I've disabled the DDC
using a mangled "port protector" (pins were pulled so the DDC signal doesn't
get transmitted to the video card) because the Avitron doesn't tell the
computer it has 1152*864 as an option (my favourite resolution) so right now
it behaves like a glorified SVGA (OS 9 doesn't let me use 1152*864, and
until OS X 10.1.? OS X wouldn't either... now OS X is smart enough to
realise that KDS screwed up).

Thanks, Eric.
