I've got a PowerBase 200. Here are the issues I've had with YDL (which
is excellent, by the way, and works fine on my officially unsupported machine):

1) Installation weirdness with pdisk/reboot dance;
2) My PCI 100bT card required a custom-made kernel - not a big deal, really

My SIIG PCI USB card works with MacOS 8.6 and YDL 1.2 just fine. I am
able to get better resolution in X (1280x960x16) than I am in MacOS
(1152x870x16) with the built-in ATI graphics (upgraded to 4mb ram).
