Some folks were asking for info on how to make your Linux machine show
up in the chooser, it's really simple.
They way I did it was to edit the file
/etc/rc.d/init.d/atalk
I added the following line at the beginning of the file and then
restarted appletalk:
modprobe appletalk
That worked for me and was very simple.
Also, you can follow the thread for Chooser no show
http://lists.yellowdoglinux.com/yellowdog-general/April00/0042.html and
they had a different way of going about it that was a little fancier.
