FTP install broken

Following up on:
http://lists.yellowdoglinux.com/yellowdog-general/May00/0297.html
it would seem that ftp install is still broken. I'm getting "can't find
file: ramdisk"
or some such... (on multiple mirrors, including uicu.edu, sourceforge,
linuxberg...)

clues? Is it just a symlink problem on the site(s)? Do I need to
download a new ramdisk?
